rivulet

Purchased at the mall

Rivulets descend my plastic smile

But you should've seen him

Peer over the edge, can you see me?

Rivulets flow from your eyes

Paint runs from your mouth like a waterfall

I look like a neon zebra shaking rain off her stripes

And the rivulets had you riveted to the places that

I wanted you to kiss me when we find some time alone

Walk like a matador, don't be chicken shit

And turn breezes into rivulets

Flamenco sweep the air and weave the sun

Soaking wet, I look upon the new plowed earth

With rivulets between each row

I almost feel you next to me

Down here it's just a muddy creek, bend and twist, the braai hiss

The fat run in rivulets, the fire spit

Cannibal tours, they came on all fours

Our primroses could survive the frost

If a gentle rivulet of flame is sustained tenderly

He'll play a Beatles tune

The frogs are asleep on the lake

Did you know that tears run in rivulets

And hearts can repeatedly break?

Scalpels cleave and reave though crimson rivulets

Weaving their cold and malignant minuets

There is water on the concrete

Rivulets on the face

You release me from your kiss

His body was jolted back by the force of the bullet + his feet flew foward.

I saw a bright little rivulet of blood are into the air and I slid the gun into the waistband of my trousers.

Who the fuck are you looking at?

How the torrents sometimes rage

How they sometimes wane to rivulet; how they sometimes freeze with the cold

How they sometimes build so strong, so relentless
